Terms and Conditions Policy

1. Dead on Arrival (DOA) Period

  • Customers facing functional issues must contact RNew within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • A video showcasing the issue must be shared with RNew using the contact details below:
  • If the return reason is verified, the customer will receive a refund within 7 days after RNew receives the product along with all accessories.

2. Limited Warranty Period

  • Devices Covered: Refurbished Smartphones, Laptops, Smartwatches, Tablets, and Gaming Consoles.
  • Warranty Duration: Six (6) months from the invoice date.
  • Accessories Warranty: Adaptor, cables (Data/Charging/PowerCord), and battery are covered for three (3) months from the invoice date.

3. Eligibility & Conditions for Warranty

  • Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • The original invoice with the retailer's name and date must be provided.
  • Customers must initiate a complaint through:

    • Nearest Store: Visit for assistance.
  • Pickup and drop service will be arranged upon issue verification, with a charge of INR 150/- per transaction.

4. Device and Issue Validation

  • IMEI/Serial Number must be provided for warranty validation.
  • Customers must share clear front, side, and back images of the device before packing for pickup and may be required to share video recordings of the issue.
  • The seal inside the device must be intact. Warranty claims will be rejected if the seal is found tampered with.

5. Warranty Claim Resolutions

  • RNew may choose to repair, replace, or refund the product as per company policy.
  • Replacement products carry the residual warranty period of the original item.
  • Issues such as mishandling, unauthorized repairs, or use with unapproved accessories/software void the warranty.

6. Depreciated Refund Policy

  • If the device cannot be repaired or replaced, reimbursement will be issued based on the device's age:
Device Age (from Invoice Date) Reimbursement (% of Invoice Value)
Up to 15 days 100%
15 – 60 days 90%
60 – 90 days 80%
90 – 120 days 70%
120 – 180 days 60%

7. Warranty Coverage Cessation

Warranty will cease under the following conditions:

  • Incorrect or tampered IMEI/Serial Number.
  • Mishandling, exposure to extreme conditions, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Failure to report the defect within the warranty period.
  • Usage with unauthorized accessories/software.

8. Resolution Timelines

  • Pickup: Within 3-4 working days of complaint registration.
  • Complete Resolution: 20 working days (from complaint initiation to dispatch).

9. Liability Limitations

  • RNew is not responsible for data backup or restoration during repairs.
  • All replaced parts or devices become the property of RNew.
  • RNew’s maximum liability is restricted to the refund as per the reimbursement scale.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Disputes shall be governed by the laws of India.
  • Courts of Gurugram, Haryana, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
